Mr. Cooper is based in New York and joins from leading M&A advisor Houlihan Lokey, where he helped lead the firm’s coverage of telecommunications software. He will lead Beyond Now’s financial organization and drive strategy, M&A, and investor relations, accelerating the company’s growth.
Over the course of his career as an M&A banker, Cooper has advised on nearly 50 M&A and capital-raising transactions, representing more than $10 billion of aggregate consideration, with industry-leading public companies, private companies, private equity firms, and entrepreneurs. He has covered the telecommunications and technology sectors for virtually his whole career and, in recent years, focused specifically on the convergence of software and connectivity.
Since becoming an independent technology company in 2021, Beyond Now has been successfully expanding across Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America. The company is benefitting from the growing demand in the market for ecosystem orchestration and digital business platforms as 'telcos' are evolving to become 'techcos'.
