As Senior Vice President of Industry Solutions Jayne is responsible for leading a portfolio of next generation solutions to empower Canadian businesses with digital technologies including 5G, IoT and analytics to solve critical business problems and drive better, more sustainable, business outcomes.

Jayne brings over 25 years of extensive experience in the tech industry to TELUS ranging from start-up innovation with emerging technologies to general management of a billion dollar enterprise software business. She has held senior leadership roles and has a proven track record of driving global expansion and innovation in tech organizations including SAP, BusinessObjects, Crystal Decisions, Visier, Sierra Wireless, Maximizer Technologies and Telecom New Zealand.

Jayne holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Auckland, and has continued executive development with Queen’s University in Ontario and KPMG Executive Leadership for Women. She is an active supporter of Women in STEM initiatives.

Angus Ward is the CEO of Beyond Now, bringing 30 years of consulting and solutions experience to his role, supporting organizations across multiple industries to shape strategies and adopt platform-based business and operating models with differentiating partner ecosystems.

He became CEO in 2017, after championing the creation of the business as part of BearingPoint Capital. Under his leadership, the company has transformed from a service-based entity to a SaaS-based technology company, expanding into ecosystem orchestration platform and digital marketplace solutions, strengthening both internal innovation and Beyond Now’s competitive advantage.

In 2021, Angus led a successful management buyout backed by private investors which saw Beyond Now become an independent technology company with a vibrant global customer community of leading telecoms and technology organizations.

Angus’s extensive experience and knowledge of a range of fields has established him as a trusted advisor to Senior Executives at companies such as AWS, Google, Accenture, Boeing, Jaguar, Landrover, Ministry of Defence, BT and NTT, as well as an industry thought leader often quoted by prominent industry publications such as Forbes, Light Reading and Mobile World Live etc.

By working closely and collaborating with industry bodies such as TM Forum, analysts, research firms and academic organizations such as MIT and Wharton, he is often invited to speak on stage at events such as MWC and DTW on the key trends and issues affecting telecoms and technology. Angus has a degree in Economics from the University of Bath and is a Chartered Accountant.

As Accenture’s Communications and Media Industry Leader, Andy is responsible for the strategy, offerings, and business, as well as the network of more than fifty thousand professionals who serve our Media and Communications clients around the world. Andy has consulted to Communications, Media and High Tech clients for more than 20 years, and has advised leaders across the industry on issues ranging from their fiber strategy to the profitability of their customers & products to margin improvement efforts. Andy has also been an advisor on multiple mergers, acquisitions and divestitures across the industry, and has helped a number of clients launch new businesses, including new wireless businesses, technology services businesses, and segment specific businesses.

Edsa leads the Emerging Technology portfolio for TELUS-Focused on Canadian and global ecosystem innovation, rapid market incubation to support key industries of interest for TELUS. Edsa has extensive background in IT and business consulting, outsourcing, business model transformation, sustainability across various companies in South East Asia, United States and Canada.

Joann currently leads the Digital Ecosystem and Labs initiatives at TM Forum. She is a transformative technology leader who recognizes the importance of APIs, 5G, IoT and automation in achieving a true digital strategy. Joann has led the TM Forum’s Open API initiative from concept to global success as an enabler to the zero-integration economy and has significant experience leading complex large-scale transformation programs for a number of global organizations.

The Digital Ecosystem program is currently exploring the role and impact of emerging technologies on different industry verticals including healthcare, manufacturing, media/entertainment and smart cities. She has a mixture of technical and management background, enjoying both equally. Joann has a BS in Information Technology majoring in Telecommunications from Dublin City University and MBA from Open University.

Prof Mohammad Zoualfaghari (PhD, MEng, MIET, MIEEE) is the World-wide Principal Technology Leader for Telco at Amazon Web Services (AWS), leading successful end to end Telecom initiatives with Tier 1 operators, as the trusted C-level advisor and strategist. Mo is also a visiting professor at University of Surrey’s 5G/6G Innovation Centre (5>6GIC), which is Europe's largest Industrial 5G/6G research network. Mo provides over 13 years of experience in the telecommunication industry and has been awarded the UK’s Engineer of the Year in 2021, as the inventor of Zero Touch Onboarding (ZTO) technology suite. His expertise includes IoT, Private 5G and Digital business Marketplace (DBM).
Prior to AWS, Mo was the research manager and Internet of Things (IoT) architect in BT Applied Research. He was the head of technical design & delivery for the UK’s flagship smart cities pilots, and the lead for BT's international centre of excellence in Ireland (BTIIC). Mo has also experience of a couple of successful start-ups, as their CTO and Technical Lead. He was also an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Electronic, Electrical and Systems Engineering at the University of Birmingham (UK). Moreover, in the last few years, Mo has led several international and cross-industry collaborations for few standard bodies (e.g. TM Forum).

Mo received his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master of Engineering (MEng, 1st Class) degrees, both in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering from the University of Birmingham (UK), in 2015 and 2009, respectively. He is the registered inventor of many patents, book chapters, whitepapers, journals, and conference papers. Mo is also an active member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Neil Van Seters is the Vice-president, Industry Application and Data Solutions with TELUS Business Solutions. A visionary leader, Neil has spent the past two decades building the future of TELUS B2B business by creating value in ways that challenge the status quo while remaining at the forefront of technological innovation.
He currently leads the Industry Application & Data Solutions team while also overseeing the integrated mergers and acquisitions strategy for TELUS Business Solutions.

Neil and his wife co-founded and run a charitable organization, Access Knowledge Africa, which provides adult literacy, computer training and library programs in rural Uganda.

Ryuichi Matsuo has more than 30 years of global business experience as a member of NTT-Group. Beginning with the development of Electronic Check Settlement system in Bangkok, he implemented a large-scale M&A (Data Center & Hosting business) in the United States and integration after the acquisition as Corporate Planning Department. After working for NTT Indonesia as President, he was in charge of Data Center business of NTT Global. He currently serves on NTT Comware as Executive Officer, Head of Global Business Office and VP of Platform Services Dept. as well as IT Strategy Dept.
